how do I delete downloaded video clips in realplayer, also empty its recycle bin?

Are you wanting to delete clips in your Playlist or My Library?

Probably both. When I go to manage favorites then history it lists every clip I have downloaded. I would like to delete these and then delete the recycle bin if thats where they go. Idealy, I would like realplayer never to save any clips in the first place!
Also ,if you look via file, it lists in order the last 8 clips that I viewed. can that list be deleted?

Open up Realplayer, goto Tools>Preferences and under "General" see all the options on the right. See where your location for "My Libarary Files" and "Temporary Files" is. Navigate to their in Windows Explorer and delete them.

Next check the option to "Clear the now playing list when new clips are played". Alternatively you can check the option for "Keep the Last" and choose a number you'd like to see available each time. 1 would also do.

Under "History" Clear it and uncheck the box for "Enabling a history File menu.

That should be it. See how that goes.
