Hi all

I've had to do a HDD format and lost the key to Winamp for converting MP4 to MP3

I'm in need of such a piece of software but don't want to pay while I talk to their support-

Is there a piece of software free that will convert MP4 into MP3... and decent too?

Please let me know.

i have had a look at some of them and most of them tou have to pay for... i will have a look on a freeware disk i have got as that has some converters on it.

However, there were some that were shareware so they can be used for 30 days or so... but

i had a look on the disk and found an audio converter but it didnt support mp4

there arnt many/any free converters for what you are looking for

Hope FlexiMusic Wave Editor, an audio/ Mp3 editor would do the conversion but it is not of freeware.

wait a sec, aren't mp4 files quicktime video files? (used on ipods/PSPs) Am I missing something here? Are there mp4 audio files?
