Some time ago I purchased Cyberscrub's Privacy Suite. Part of the deal was to get lifetime upgrades free of charge.

Yesterday I got an e-mail from Cyberscrub ..

"Our records indicate that you have purchased Lifetime Upgrade Insurance. This will allow you to upgrade your existing CyberScrub Professional or Privacy Suite to Privacy Suite 4.5 at no additional charge. New features and enhancements are displayed on our website at www.cyberscrub.com
You have 72 hours to download the program.

Then came the download / installation instructions which I followed.

I then went to Cyberscrub's website - absolutely no reference to v4.5

I've tried to e-mail Cyberscrub UK, and my e-mails are getting rejected for " <infouk@cyberscrubuk.co.uk>: The user does not accept email in non-Western (non-Latin) character sets".
Also tried their phone number - going in cicles.

A really good security company - no one can get to them!

Anyone else get this v4.5 upgrade e-mail.

I had that e-mail as well i downloaded PS 4.5 from the main Cyberscrub site, when on the site go to downloads then look to your right and click on the link more info.After i had downloaded the program and used it for a couple of days i ran one of my anti spyware programs and it came up showing Privacy Suite contained a keylogger. I e-mailed cyberscrub about this but have had no reply. Ive deleted the file to be on the safe side , something fishy going on i think.Perhaps they have been taken over by the cia
