Nero’s done it again! After days of editing it’s now refusing to open my NVC file (NeroVision 4). It goes to the front screen, I select the open existing project screen, I can see my file. I double click and then the program vanishes and I’m back at the Windows screen. File Manager shows that the NVC file is in place.

I’ve used the Nero contact form on their website; the response being I should download their update for Nero 7. It sounds like a fob off to me. Surely I’m not the only person to have this happen.

Is it drivers?
Will I lose or damage my nvc file if I delete Nero and load the updated version?

Please help if you can. I’ve spent manyhours already on the editing and I’m beginning to lose the will to do anything!

It should do what it says on the tin, so you shouldn't have to upgrade.
I'm a long term Nero fan but I would not use it for editing.
Get something like Ulead Video Studio (any version ar all) and just use NERO for burning.
You won't regret it.
