i've tried it in the AOL browser, doesn't work there either. i just downloaded the slimbrowser from that site,and it doesn't work in that either. think it's safe to say it's my computer not the browser. i can't think why, it's new-ish, i've got antivirus, anti spyware, firewall etc so there shouldn't be anything messed up by hackers, viruses or junk (and yes, i've turned them all off to test if it'll work when they're not running, and still no..lol)

i've emailed the support team now, explaining what the problem is and telling them what i've tried so far, it may be they can offer some more advice, but i strongly suspect it's nothing to do with the software i'm installing and more to do with some issue the computer has with the whole idea which is stopping it from recognising that i have it and do NOT need to download it again.
