Hi all

I have a query which im not sure is possible?

Say i have a word document in "my documents" and the same word file is copied to my flash stick. Assume the flash stick is stuck in the PC...

If i open this document from "my docs" and make an amendment ... is there anyway i can automatically save the chanegs to the veersion on my flash stick too?

(other than copy and paste across)

No, I'm afraid not. There are various workarounds to achieve what you want though. The simplest is, whenever you save the file in Word, click the File menu and then Save As. Save it to the My Documents folder. Then go to File > Save As and save it a second time to the flash drive. It only takes a couple of seconds

Ok thanks... Maybe this is an idea that OS designers should introduce..!?
