My friend hasnt been able to get on msn for a while now, hes recently moved to shaired accomodation which has wirless internet access, he can get onto the internet fine, but cant get msn to log in!!

Have tried reinstalling it, disabling firewall etc etc...

I've run out of ideas as what might be causing it, i've had simlar problems on my laptop on my own wirless network, and homed it down to being the MTU size being set wrong, but he cant access the network settings, so i cant check if this is whats causing his problem.

Any ideas?
thanks for the help (ps he can log into webmessenger and skype, and msn's troubleshooter detects no problems)
