Are you copying the files through Windows Explorer or My Computer ..... or do you have a separate applications for doing this such as Apple iTunes ?

Either way, I don't know the answer but this information will help someone else who might

So it's just a simple Windows copy and paste or drag 'n' drop.

Do you have a very large MP3 or several very small MP3s that you could try and copy over when there are 119 on the MP3 player? I suspect that the limit is not 120 files but a certain amount of space being used .... even though you believe that it is reporting lots of free space. If you can have 119 normal MP3s and 2 small ones, or you can't copy a large MP3 on when there are 119 on there, then that will prove that idea and may give us a clue as to what the solution is

OK...I'll try your idea, another idea I had was to change the format to WMA instead of Mp3 it says that Mp3 player will hold up to 500 songs in WMA format...changing them will be a lot of work but I have already dowloaded the program..so I'm going to try to switch format and once I have switched them all I will try to add more.. again...I'm still open to other suggestions! tys_mom

WMA files should be about the same size as MP3s ..... but it's a bit of an odd problem so it might have a bit of an odd answer!

Size of files is not the issue it just sticks at approx...55% disk or file space used.....I don't know what else to try...(frustrated!) tys mom

I have trouble with my mp3 player if the files are sampled at an incorrect bitrate.
