Resetting your passwords to lower case looks like the best bet until ...
it's impossible company restriction, thanks anyway.Originally Posted by jephree
Perhaps there was a reason the company imposed those restrictions?
Hold on a minute guys - we need to be very careful here.
Number 1 - Your IT department have set a 'strong password' policy, which means that you can't have a password that contains only lower case. Therefore, you can't use the utility that you have found because it has the lower case password issue.
Number 2 - Your IT department have restricted you from installing applications. That probably means they don't want you installing anything on their PCs! It seems that they haven't been thorough enough to lock down services and you are going to try to expose that loophole.
Number 3 - Why do you want to unlock your PC at a certain time? Is it so that you can remotely connect to your PC after you have gone home and do things that no-one knows about and perhaps you shouldn't be doing?
I apologise if I am being cautious without due cause but, as an IT Manager myself, this sounds very suspicious. You really should speak to your IT department to help you with getting additional access to the PC that they have set up for you. It is not our place to assist you in bypassing their security.
I shall now lock this thread but please do send me a Private Message (PM) if you want to discuss it further
