I cannot uninstall the last part of the AVG antivirus program.
It says "avgse.dll cannot delete avgse:access denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use."
I have gone into safe mode, unchecked AVG in the startup menu.
Please help - I have literally been working on this for 6 hours and 40 minutes.
AVG will not help - I cannot log on to their chat forum because it will not recognize my email address. I do not want to call Dell for an insane fee of $99 to talk to a rep for a few minutes.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the idea about taking ownership of a file, but it did not work. Any other ideas?
Thanks!!!

When I open Microsoft Outlook, it says: The add-in"C:PROGRA~1\GRISOFT\AVGFRE~1\avgxch32.dll" could not be installed or loaded. This problem may be resolved by using Detect and Repair on the Help menu.
"Restore my shortcuts while repairing" is checked
The other option is "Discard my customized setting and restore default settings."
Windows installer config microsoft office small business edition 2003
Insert Microsoft office small business edition 2003 disk
I insert the disk and it starts to install, then I get a message "Error 1311 source file not found"
I searched on microsoft for the error. It said to copy the disk to my computer, set up and then try. I did it, but I still get the same message.
I have now been working on this for almost 11 hours with about an hour break!!
Thanks for any suggestions!!!
I would suggest going with this setting:
Discard my customized setting and restore default settings

Do you still get the error?
And if so does it affect Office or can you just bypass it?
If you still get the error I would suggest backing up (Exporting) your data and then running the default Detect and Repair then reinstall (Import) your data.

I have just passed the 12 hour mark of working on this, so I am calling it a night. Thanks for your willingness to help.
