I have an HP Photosmart 3210 Multi-thingy and all works well with the device itself but the software is poor, it crashes my pc slows stuff down etc. I would install the basic drivers but it disables the scan/copy buttons on the front of my printer and this is usefull for non techy members of my family, they place document in printer press copy a dialogue box appears on screen and it saves in a location everyone is aware of, also it shows ink levels while printing, while checking for updates the other day I noticed there was a number of 'critical' updates for my software. This would fix the issues my pc has with the software surely! Well everytime I try to download the updates via the software it comes back with download failed, I tried downloading via the HP site and....nothing! I can't get my head round it my security is allowing it etc. but the download from the website not working is unbelievable! I'm going to check all my browser settings but thought I had it configured pretty well. I use Maxathon and alll the plugins that come with it, I have disabled most of the beta stuff Adblocker etc, nothing...anyone have the same problem?
