I have a number of documents which I need to print in black only. The documents all contain my email address which appears in blue on my MS word screen. When I do print the doc since I have only a black ink cartridge in my printer the email address does not appear on the actual printed paper. How can I print the entire doc in black including the email address only?

What brand of printer do you have? Usually in the printing preferences you can select print in grayscale only or black only.
Otherwise you can open each document, select all text and change the text colour to black and print that way.

Well there is no need to open each page for changing the text.
When you are going to print the document just select the color in printing options in which you like to print.
This will set the default color in custom printing.
