this is my 1st time posting here and i hope this is the right place to ask!!
i have some movies that are in the pal format and i was wondering if it was possible to convert them into ntsc so i can watch them on my home dvd player

they are vob, ifo, and bup files, not avi

also if it would be easier?! to hack my dvd player do you know a hack for a sony DAV-C450? i can't seem to find one.

Try here http://www.unlock-dvd.com/ for unlocking the DVD player. I assume you meant a multi-region hack?
