mp3 disk causes 'Play Music Files using Nero StartSmart?'
When I put in a mp3 cd (ISO) I get several program options (Windows XP sp1).
One of which is Play Music Files using Nero StartSmart. I clicked it and didn't see what it was supposed to do to play the music files. I know how to turn this option on and off. Can I re-install Nero 6 Ultra so that this option actually means something? or is there an option to play that I can't find on any of my StartSmart menus. (I do have advanced mode on.) Thanks paj692

Sorry I don't have a direct answer but I pulled up some Nero pages that might be worth browsing:
http://www.nero.com/nero6/en/Tutorial_Audio.html
http://www.nero.com/en/Support.html
Just out of curiosity can you play these disks with WMP?
Also in Folder Options from the Control Panel you can set the application that opens different file types.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. I can play them using WMP, ATI MMC Winamp or any program that plays MP3s, but the message Play Music Files using Nero StartSmart is misleading because the functions (as listed on the link you provided) do not include 'playing music files'. An odd bit of computer programming that may refer to the old Nero Media Player that was an option with some versions of Nero. I'm not sure if it was accessible from StartSmart, though. Thanks anyway. paj692
