Hi, I've go the new Creative Zen Vision:m and I’m wondering how can I convert my RMVB files into any one of these formats DivX 4 & 5, XviD5, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG4-SP, and WMV9. What program will let me convert those files? What format type is the best and how do I convert it to that?

Hi Matt,
I've just finished posting a lengthy reply to one of your other posts in this forum and some of the replys apply to this aswell so have a look and follow the links there for more detailed info. There are many programs available that will convert RMVB into any format you can think of. For your little player however the screen will be small (smaller than a psp im guessing) so DVD quality isnt paramount. WMV format would be good for this as it produces small files, however if you aren't happy with the quality then ipod video is mp4 (I think!) divx5 is a great ratio of file size and quality, it all depends on how much space you want to fill on your player. One thing to think about is when converting from one format to another you will lose some information so if your Real Media files are low quality then they wont get 'better' by converting at full quality. You will end up with a large file of low quality video. Anyway have a look at my other post head over to Afterdawn where they should be able to help you out!

thanks for the reply but i had 2 sell the Creative ZVM and then my parents go me a iPod vid, but thanks for the reply anyway
