Did you mean to type ICMON.EXE, if so please click HERE Do you have Sophos AV installed or have you in the past?

Dorothy PMed me and ask how she could keep a tally of the amount she has downloaded. I'll answer that question here on the boards in case another member has the same question.

When you start a download you will be presented with a screen telling you the size of the download. Make note of that and open Notepad, click file new and type the size of the download. Now click save as and give it a name such as DL limit. Now when you do your next DL simply make not of the size open notepad again and add it to the file you already created. This time and from here on out simply click save. Now all you need to do is check this file as often as needed and do a little math to make sure you aren't about to go over the monthly limit. However. I am not sure that I understand what you mean about backdoor 'delf'.
I hope you can give me a 'user friendly' version.

Backdoor.Delf is a trojan virus that uses Icmon.exe as one of it's covers.

Icmon.exe is a legit program within windows but trojan viruses have a way of hiding behind legit .exe's

And another problem in detection is that not all AV's (anti-virus) will detect them.

Trend Micro & Bit Defender are good free scanners that will pick out most trojans.
