I caused a problem with one of my disk drives which resulted in corruption of the drive, and visible loss of data. I used File Scavanger 3.0 to recover the data (all MP3 files) and in most cases they have recovered completely (folder, file name, etc).

Unfortunately, in a number of files (500+) it was unable to indentify the file name and called them Unknown999.mp3 where 999 in a numeric 001 to 999).

Each file properties has all the id data - album name, artist, track name, etc.

Is there any software I can use to reconstruct the file names using the properties values.

Found an excellent piece of software - TagScanner - which did exactly what I wanted.
Scanned the mp3 tag data and alloewd me to re-create the folders and file names required.
