I recently found out about a program called KGB Archiver it is supposed to have better compression than any other zip programs, so I tried it out, it took over association of my files and the compression took forever only to reduce just a small amount of space from the original file ex: a file that is 350 mb, compressed made it 344 mb, not a significant difference.

my problem is I unistalled it and now it's still in the registry even after using registry cleaner it's still there it still has association of zip files even after the uninstall.

What cleaner?

You could try a System Restore.

You can also manually change file associations via start > Control Panel > Folder Options > File Types
