When copying text from a Web Page to Document MS Word completely hangs and must end task.

Any fixes or suggestions appreciated?

have you tried re-installing word?
also, is it just web pages? if so, try copying them th ms paint (if its a picture) or notepad (if its text), save it and copy it from there

It is any IE webpage where I try copying text information and then paste into my MS Word Document when Word will just hang. I am currently pasting into a NotePad area then copying from NotePad to Word document. Never had this issue prior to installing XP MS Word 2003.

I figured this is a very common task by many people that there would have been a permanent fix available.

There may be an easy fix, but i don't know of any, sorry, i was just trying to find out if it only hangs when coppying from I.E or from a document on your computer aswell
