First, I am using Nero Version 6.6 to convert my movies such as, AVI,MPG..et to DVD format. Then I get this ? "Your project contains more PAL then NTSC material, but will be encode into NTSC if you use the current setting. Do you want to change the setting to PAL so, that your project will be encoded in the video mode to match that matches the majority of the project's content.?"

Second what is PAL and NTSC? Third, I just click "yes." Am I supposed to say yes or instead of no? Fourth, everyting gets encoded to my harddrive then I go to burn it on a DVD. Things still going go burn successful. I take out the DVD and go to play it and this is the message i get there "Playback prohibited by area limitations." If I put that DVD in my cpu it plays fine. Any suggestions here or help. Thanks

I tried redoing the burn again, but this time when it asked about the PAL/NTSC files I click "NO" and now I have no video, but I do have audio. Any help would be greatly appericated. Thanks

Okay, I understand about the PAL and the NTSC files. Now, how can I convert the PAL format over to NTSC? I have dl the program called "dgpulldown," but I don't understand how it works nor make it work to take PAL to NTSC. Does anyone here know of anyother programs to do so? Free? Is there a brand of DVD playes that supports all regins?
