Do you have a manual for that drive. Did it come with the computer or did you add it?
If it came with the system what is the make & model of the computer?
If you added it do you know the manufacturer? I searched briefly but didn't get far.

That Dell shows one CD rom drive so I am assuming this other was added?

Unfortunatley I wouldn't call this definitive but just another indication that that drive does not support 24 X writing.

I tried the LG site but they no longer have any info on that model.
