cisco clean access agent
I am required to use this software in order to get on my school's network but everytime I sign on, it says I need windows updates when I actually don't. Everything is up to date with the high-priority updates and I also downloaded all the additional software from Microsoft's site. I can't log onto the network. I was wondering is there was anything I could do to get this software to accept the fact that my computer is up to date.

Is there a specific update that it says it needs? Maybe you just need to re-install that specific update again?

It does say not any specific update that I need to install. It just says I need microsoft windows updates. I checked and everything that was installed was installed correctly.

I've never seen a program give that message before. It seems odd that it knows it thinks it needs an updated file, which is included within a specific Windows hotfix, yet it won't tell you what one you need. And it doesn't include it in the Cisco software installation program.
Are you running the latest service pack for your version of Windows? Maybe that's what it means - the Cisco software is only supported on a certain Windows version. The latest service pack for Windows XP is SP2 and the latest for Windows 2000 is SP4.
