Hi, I decided to use my capture card for the first to capture some vhs vidio to convert to dvd. Everything is fine and the vidio was captured to mpeg2 format. I used nero vision express 2 to make a project adding chapters etc, before burning the movie onto dvd+R. The burn process said approx 13 hrs burn time but took 10.5 hrs to complete. Is this a normal time frame for this kind of project as it seems a hell of a long time to leave running. The dvd did turn out excelent so no complaints there, I'm just wondering if there is anything I'm missing that would cut down the burn time.
I'm running a dell p111, 850mhz, 20gb-7200rpm, 384mbram and the movie was approx 3.75 gb.
