DVD files too big for disks...
I have the files for a DVD, on my hard drive, but they are too big to fit on one of my blank DVD's. My blank DVD's are 4.7GB and the DVD is about 7.2GB. So, I was thinking I could either compress it, or do it as 2 disks. Which one would you suggest, and how would I go about doing it?
Thanks.

DVD Shrink is a program that will compress it so you can burn it. I usually shrink it to my harddrive then burn with Nero.

The only downside to doing this is that DVD Shrink will shrink to level 8, then if it's still too big to fit on a dvd you will have to shrink again to a suitable size for the dvd. Doing this lowers the quality that much that it's almost impossible to watch. The better option is to buy a dual layer dvd writer and some dual layer dvd's. Although this will cost more you won't lose any quality and it will be alot more enjoyable.
