e-mail attachments.
I am supposed to be receiving an e-mail with a scan attatched to it, so far I have received the e-mail without the attatchment. The sender has told me that the attatchment, (isn't there a shorter way of spelling this), is 1Mb in size and that he would compress it for the second attempt. when I opened the e-mail there was no att---. The funny thing is, in the inbox there is the paperclip alongside the e-mail to notify that there is an att---.
So, what can I do?
I really need this att--- because it contains plans to aid my table saw.
Yours in desperate need. - Gary.

HI Gary,
theres only several possibilities..
> your e-mail provider sets a limit size on the attachments (check with them)
> you e-mail provider is dropping the attachment (get a free e-mail [yahoo/mSN etc] & re-send )
> your friend is messing up ? (bad attachment or forgetting to attach it)
> your computer has a software "glitch"
> your friend is playing "games" with your head.
Hope this helps

some client like Outlook express have an option that will disable any attachments sent to you (for anti-virus reasons). make sure this option isnt enabled.

Gary here,
Thanks for your replies.
The attachment in question has been sent one page at a time, and in jpg format.
Everything seems fine, except some of the text is a bit blured.
Thank you both for your help. - Regards, Gary.

For those that are interested in unlocking the attachment woes from their outlook, install and run this baby - it's free and I have been using it for years
http://www.slovaktech.com/attachmentoptions.htm - it's FREE

I am realy sorry, I should have known better.
This may help:-
I have Windows XP Professional,
Pentium III, 797MHz Processor,
384 Mb RAM,
Outlook Express 6 (2004).
Normally I would have taken Outlook as a shortcut for Outlook Express. But recently I read somthing that stated Outlook was not to be confused with Outlook Express.
Would your link still be of any use?
Regards, Gary.
