If I purchase a computer with DVD+R/RW will I still be able to burn or copy cds? Even though it says nothing about burning cds?

you should have no problems at all copying and burning cdsas lond as that cd format is supported by the dvd writer it will say on the packaging it came in
if you are still unsure please let me know the make model and serial number of the writer and i will have a quick look to make doubly sure for you
