When I put a getURL action upon a button in a file on my hard drive, the html page opens correctly.
But when i repeat the same procedure in a Flash file which is on a LAN, the html page doesn't open.

Are you linking to the html file which contains the SWF or are you link directly to the SWF?But when i repeat the same procedure in a Flash file which is on a LAN, the html page doesn't open.
