Fernando - I use WinVNC on all my PCs, laptops and servers in the office. It's absolutely fantastic for remote control of PCs on lots of different versions of Windows across my network.
However, for what you want, it's no good at all. You install the VNC Server component on the PC to be controlled, i.e. your home PC, but you do also have to install the VNC Viewer component on the PC that is to do the controlling, i.e. the PC in the Internet cafe so that's not going to be any use to you.
The only alternative that I was thinking of was GoToMyPC but then I saw in your second post that you ruled that out.
How about Windows XP's built-in Remote Desktop Connection or whatever they call it. If you were accessing it from another PC with Windows XP on it, I would expect that that should be quite straightforward. You would have to set your home PC to automatically accept remote connections - I expect that there's an option to do that with a password. I don't have Windows XP so I can't really say much more than how I expect it ought to work - look it up in the Windows XP help file or on the Microsoft site and you ought to be able to find out whether it's any good for you.
P.S. Let us know if it's any use - I'd be interested to hear what it can do
