    Freaking box with red X!!!

Sorry, but I didn't know where to post this...

There is ONE person who keeps trying to send me jpg pics in emails. I can see only a blank box with that red x in the corner. Pictures ONLY from this person.

He keeps trying, but I keep telling him that I can't see the pics!

Is there something I can do to be able to view them... or is it totally on his end?

It has me very puzzled! Thanks for any suggestions!

Assuming u r using outlook express, a random list of search results. Hope this helps.

If you are receiving e-mail with the red X, the sender probably isn't
creating the mail properly. Ie: If you see a picture on the web you want to
send, unless you download to your hard drive first and then insert it into
the e-mail, it most likely will be a red X for the recipient. You can't just
copy and paste in most cases.

go to Internet Explorer/ tools/advanced, scroll down to "Show pictures"
, if unchecked, check it. It has a way of unchecking itself.

Clear your Temporary Internet Files and delete all offline content in
IE. Also check your registry associations for image files. see
