Hi, did you all have a good christmas? Great.

Down to business.
I would like to have a go at animation, I have no drawing abilities, so picture manipulation would be good, if there is any.

My predicament dictates that I can only use freebies, but is there anything you can recomend for me to get started in computer animation.

I am using Windows 98se; with 192Mb RAM; Pentium II 400MHz.
Image navigator; Jasc Paintshop Pro 9; Picasa; Serif PhotoPlus 6.0; Serif 3DPlus 2.0.

I have seen some tutorials, and they mention software like; Ulead PhotoImpact 8, xl, Pro; Ulead Animator 5, and Paintshop Pro. Are these anything like the software I have?

I am sitting at home all day with a smashed leg, and would like somthing challenging and interesting to do. I apreciate anybodys help. Thanks

Cheers Spud, I'll check it out. There is so much out there I get confused.

Motorbike, three years ago, I was overtaking some cars, and the lead car pulled out. He didn't see me with my headlight on, on a sunny day. Ya my ass. (Still broken).
