Red face BIG file little CD.

I have a 879Mb .iso file which I would like to put on CD, my CD only holds 700Mb.

When I try to burn the BIG file onto the little CD, I'm told. "There is not enough space on this medium", (obviously). "Please insert another medium that provides more space".

I thought it might ask for a second disk, like it would with floppys. The file is actualy a game.

    1. Can I put it on two CDs?
    2. Will the game still play properly?
    3. How do I do it?

    I am running, Windows 98se, Pentium II 400MHz, 192Mb RAM, Nero 5.
I hope this is all the information one needs.

I hope someone has the answer to my dillemer. Gary.

PS. I have been informed that what I have done may be illegal. If this is the case, I have done it without knowing, and I apologize whole heartedly.
What I have done is download a game from the internet, now I want to play It. I thought this was a shareware thing and totaly leagle. I believe It's done with music, why not games?

Again I am sorry. I am damed near a porper with a broken legg, (have had for three and a half years), is there a leagle way to do the above?Yours sincerely, Gary.

On the basis that this is a valid piece of shareware I'll advise.

That ISO image will be for a DVD not a CD. You'll need a DVD burner to produce a working disk. An alternative option would to "mount" the image on your hard drive using something like alcohol 120%

There are also free applications that allow you to examine the contents of an ISO file and extract what's inside
