    for future ref read about:
SonicStage Backup Tool — You can back up and restore music, graphics,
and information data managed by SonicStage software. You must be
connected to the Internet to use the SonicStage Backup Tool.

    I'm outta here!

Like a duck with a worm me. OK do this:
Click Start, point to All Programs and then click Sonic Stage.
On the Tools menu, click Options.
Click the Import tab, and then click Set location to save converted EMD files.

Now the location it offers is hopefully where your songs should by default be stored.

If not search for all files with the extension EMD - Does this help?

    Hi,

Sorry if I missed something here but....

Can you not just go Start>Find/Search and search for files *.mp3 on C; or wherever you saved them originally this will uncover any music files on the machine. You don't have to use Sonic Stage to play those files. If you don't know how to run this search let me know and i'll explain in more detail, its just a Windows file search though.

Hello, to tag onto this thread but

is there any way to backup the sonic stage files if you cant access windows.

My windows installation has gone corrupt and i need to reload.

I tried transferring the .omg files from sonic stage to a new installation about a year ago when i got a new motherboard and found out that you cant transfer the .omg files to another computer. I got the same error that lady got.

I still the rest of the hard disk intact, i plugged it into my dad`s computer as a second hard disk, so i can check and change stuff. i just cant boot into windows.

I`m using win 200 pro, sonic stage v1.5.
