New Design for D-A-L

Re: New Design for D-A-L
This is getting weirder if that's possible.
Today I connected but was not automatically logged on as I had unchecked the "Remember me" box. There were 4 highlighted threads showing in the Windows XP forum. I logged in and the highlighting was gone.
Now logging in or out does not seem to matter, no highlighting.

I'm kind of slow to change but the new look is warming up on me but I miss the ability to customize my profile.
One thing that I really don't like is that if I want to edit one of my posts in advanced mode first I have to go through basic mode. Is there a way to make it a selection that way I can go straight to advanced? Other wise for me "settings" is confusing. I'm used to boards that say User CP so I naturally look for that but then I have to remember that it is not labeled that anymore. Otherwise I don't have any other suggestions except that the new frown, wink, grin, ban, smile, embarrassment, confused, rolleyes, & eek smiles are small and hard to make out.

It's been okay for the last two days, yippie!
I just noticed, when looking at a forum, the date the thread was started is not shown anywhere. It would be nice to have that information as I don't like to get involved in long running threads. Not sure where you would put it though, maybe to the right of the user name???

Not working today. There were 3 threads in Windows XP Help that showed a Last Post of Today but none of them are highlighted.

I have not been on the site for sometime, and find the new forum web design is great and like it and is crisp and atractive. Well done D-A-L

Still working okay!
I did notice one thing today though. When a thread is closed, there i no link at the bottom that takes you back to the forum you are looking at like there now is in an open thread. Example http://www.d-a-l.com/help/windows-xp...w-problem.html

Would you mind providing a screen shot? I didn't see what you're talking about in an open thread.

Sure, here is the bottom of an Open thread: http://www.d-a-l.com/help/windows-xp...-new-post.html

And here is one from the closed thread I posted before:
