56k modem... Oh how I miss those machine sounds. Not the connection speed though, pffh it made surfing the web a workout.
They seemed to have left out the Sinclair 64 PC thing that my son had and I had to read out the programs to him so he oculd load it onto a cassett tape then plug the tape into the pc and the game would play(sometimes)![]()
My how technology has changed.
In the 40's & 50's I lved in the country we had paraffin lamps and candle's for lighting, a earth closet for a toilet, a radio that was run on a acculimator which we took to the local garage to be recharged every weeek, coal & wood fires fires and a bath in front of the kitchen range on Sunday evening. Oh those were the days.
