New toys

Stepped up the GTX 260 55nm to a 275 and also bought an LG 22" 2242TQ-BF.
16:10 is fun.

I'm using dual monitor as well and here are some useful programs.
UltraMon: Does everything about dual monitor you can think of. Programs launching in specific monitors, separate screensavers etc etc.
WinSplit Revolution: Helps keep clutter away. Assigns "shortcuts" to numpads so that windows can be tiled neatly on-screen. I use this on my smaller screen. It's usually a mixture of conversations etc etc.
Both have small footprints.

Let's say I move a couple MSN windows to the 19" when I'm doing full-screen gaming on the 22". Is there an easy command to switch control to the other monitor to type a couple things?

Hmm that's something I'd like as well but never really tried. I think there's a program that allows a single set of keyboard and mouse to control multiple computers, I'll find out the name and get back to you on that.
I use UltraMon to set "Alt+Z" as a shortcut to "throw" windows on different screens. Very very useful. Alt+z and the numpad shortcuts let me arrange my windows very quickly.

Hi...
Try Multimon...it adds a taskbar on the 2nd monitor then allows yo uto move windows back and forth with just a click on a button. They have a free and Pro version...download link near the bottom right of page...

Thanks dob, I may try that down the road. I'm happy with my current setup though.

Oh, if you've gotten Ultramon you might not need to get Multi-Mon for the taskbar. Ultramon has that as well but I don't use it.
