Sorry that I have not been around much in the last couple days but I have been outside pumping water from the backyard...we've had some good weather so all the snow is melting. And now it's raining...*shakes head*

I'm probably going to take Monday off to pump...sucky way to have a day off...

I'm pumping to the back lane...my driveway runs off a back lane.

My "bunker" for the most part is waterproof but I have window well in front of a couple of my Basement Windows and these fill up with water so I use sump pumps to pump them out. I have an other small sump that has a special attachment that sucks water from flat surfaces...I'm using that one to pump the water from the backyard.

Yep...it's going to be scarey around here for a couple weeks...

Tuesday morning, 95% of the snow in my backyard was gone...melted away (or pumped away)...by Wednesday night, after getting home from work, I was using my snow blower to clear the driveway and the walk paths from all the snow that dumped on us Tuesday and Wednesday...

Looks like the weather is supposed to be in the + temps starting on Monday. If it stays in the low + then I may not have to get back pumping but if it starts back into the high + temps then I'm going to be pumping again...

Too bad some of that water you are pumping can't make it to my properties here in the desert dohbar. My Cactus would love it.

The weather forecast here says that I'll be facing sleet, an ice rain and more snow. Golly. I'm sort of happy I live on-campus now. Don't need to walk long distances to get home lol.
