I only wish they were cheap. Lol. Games really cost a lot of money these days...

I just recently read a debate thread on whether or not Steam cost more than retail but I cannot currently relocate it.

I've loaded Steam onto ubuntu using Wine.

However I've never successfully loaded the needed NVIDIA driver to run any high end games.

Do you think it costs more? I am somewhat tempted to think it costs slightly more as you don't get a physical copy of it. Furthermore these days you can activate your product on Steam even if you get retail (Unreal Tournament 3 for example).
