    Pics from Quebec (56k'ers beware)

It was a coach tour that provided tour guides in Montreal, Quebec City, and Ottawa, as well as two nights in a hotel in Montreal. We also visited Kingston for a 1-hour boat tour of the Thousand Islands on the return trip. All in all it was a great trip. The Montreal and Ottawa tours were a bit rushed, so thankfully I had visited all the points of interest last year. Quebec City was beautiful.

Left Friday morning and arrived in Montreal around 3pm for the tour. Checked in to our hotel at around 7pm so we had plenty of time to take in Montreal's bustling nightlife and found a nice restaurant to top it off. Saturday morning we left for Quebec City and got back to the Montreal hotel around 9pm. Sunday morning we checked out and visited Ottawa and the Thousand Islands on the return trip.
The coach was comfortable, but the trips were excruciatingly long. At least I spent most of the trips making out with a young Italian girl on the tour. Great trip, will definitely have to go again. I <3 Quebec.

    Funky sign along the way

    Cool. Thanks dude.

I did a trip to Montreal > Quebec City > then up to the mouth of the St. Lawrence Seaway back in the 80's.

    Very sweet land and people.

I remember spending the night in a car in that parking lot of the ferry in Quebec City after drinking all night in their old town pubs.

Even though I don't speak French I had fun and was accepted. Drink and laugh!

    Thanks for the memories.

Nice snaps - though you might want to invest in a spirit level as many of your horizons are off-kilter.

BTW: at 26Mb it's not just 56k'ers who need to beware - ever considered a flickr account.

Thanks for sharing, wouldn't mind a visit there actually.

Many of the Ottawa pics were taken with the camera over the heads of large crowds. The Thousand Islands photos were taken on a boat. That would explain slight tipping.
