    Question How fast is your computer?

    How fast is your computer when processing SuperPI? I thought it would be fun to know, since I got my new computer a couple of days ago and decided to benchmark it. How fast is yours running 1M and 19 iterations? Provide the other results if you can please.

    EDIT: Use the SuperPI Mod [Uploaded for Convenience] since it displays a more precise result time; it shows milliseconds. Please report on system specs so we can have a way of figuring out fast processors (well of course)

    My Results (Specs in Signature):

    16K: 00.172s
    32K: 00.375s
    64K: 00.797s
    128K: 1.703s
    256K: 3.797s
    512K: 8.250s
    1M: 19.203s
    2M: 44.235s

    Whoo! The new Penryn C2D @ 2.5GHz killed my old computer, an AMD Turion TL-52 X2 @ 1.6GHz, obviously, but hard to believe was that it smoked my old Pentium 4 3.0GHz PC by a lot (I forgot the number and I can't run the test anymore since I gave the PC to a friend). I'm guessing the 45nm process and hafnium transistors are a pretty good deal, for me and my applications anyway.

    My specs is in my sig and here's my speed lol...

    16k = 0.250
    32k = 0.516
    64k = 1.109
    128k = 2.391
    256k = 5.266
    512k = 11.829
    1m = 28.422

    hmm. Might be useful to know that I run a bunch of background apps as well lol. Transformation packs and UI effects and all those whatnots. I'll see if I'm free enough one of these days to run this with all those closed lol.

    Doesn't seem at all bad. You haven't seen my old Turion's performance.

    I got the Latitude 3 days ago, so I could see the logic in being fast.
