Heh heh heh, chuckle chuckle chuckle, at least my guess was right, about the fact nobody really likes an older OS.
Well, I'm getting used to Vista, and I hate the bugs, but so far, I am fine with Vista. Once I get a more powerful computer, Vista all the way!

With our Vista, we have a "site advisor" which scans the website before you use it- to check for bad things. What they are... i'm not sure. When i log into DAL it stays green (good, obviously) and when there are worse websites it goes grey... then red.

    Does anyone else have this?

Natch. IE7 right? It's the built in Phishing filter. Checks encrypted sites against the Microsoft Database ans shows Green for OK, Yellow for Suspicious, and Red for Dangerous. Look for the little icon near the status bar. Phishing filter checks every site though, it doesn't show green for non-encrypted sites. I very rarely use IE. I like Safari.

To any D-A-L Admin. If you want to help me move this to the Chillout Zone > Chat Zone, please do so. This really isn't a help topic, and I thought I'd get better results there. Anyone else subscribed to this tread, heads-up. Hopefully, this thread is moving out!

Site Advisor has been around for a while. It's not unique to IE7. It was developed by an independant, then bought out by McAfee; http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,2054798,00.asp

"at least my guess was right, about the fact nobody really likes an older OS."

Your basing a "fact" on two replies? A larger sample base would provide better statistics.....

I'll move your thread to the Chat forum.

No, I wasn;t basing the fact on the replies I got, it's that I've had my experiences with older Windows OS's and I have seen the extreme improvement in XP. Based on those facts and also since nobody actually voted for an older OS, I assumed no person would actually prefer an older OS to newer ones, when compared to XP, which seems to be the master of all OS's.

P.S. Thanks for helping me move my thread.
