    well done Mike

I went to parents evening at the local college the other night to see how my daughter's getting on with her music tech course, out of 7 subjects she got 2 merits the other 5 were distinctions so she's not doing to bad at all

She must make you very proud, good luck to her and may she do well in everything she does. By what instruments does she play?

And you Mike you have done well to have impressed the people in Pilkingtons, they know when they have a good hard working person and who they are willing to invest in them, and earlier than they had intended to, WELL DONE, WELL DONE BOTH

:walkmanGood for her, my son used to do radio hostpital many years ago he now works for the BBC as an engineer, there are always openings there both on TV and Radio for sound production even with the much trumpeted redundancys that there will be. He also records for brass bands so that they can sell their own CD's in his spare time as he has a mobile recording studio.:

The first day on the new job went pretty well. They seem a decent bunch of people - no obvious tozzers.
I had to stay back a little and stop in at the supermarket but I was still home by 5:20. There were days in the old job when I'd just be catching my first bus at that time!
