    That is unlucky!!!! My mate nearly got the other place at goodrich, the other person the took on got sacked after 2 months, he got an interview and it was between him and another lad, the other lad had done the same mechanical training as what we had done so he got it.

    Went in today, they are still trying to get me into another company doing something slightly diferent

    Try the BBC if you are interested in sound engineering, I dont know what your qualifications are,my son he had only a BETC in electronics but he joined the BBC at 18 is now engineering manager for the South West Region in Bristol. He deals with TV,Sound, IT,etc and has just project managed their new TV and radio studio's & all the infrstructure. write to them and see if there any openings for trainees.

    While we're on a job-hunting theme, I'm doing most of mine online for the first time through SEEK.com. Very interesting to watch advertisements close and then reappear a few weeks later!
    Spotted two returns today that I considered before but let slip.

    im now applying for network rail as a signal engineer and also to a company called Nukem as a design engineer (I think!) my program manager said he wants a CV monday morning because they are looking for 2 apprentices.... He also said ive got a good chance
