    This might be a better place to ask your question:

    http://www.mymathforum.com/

    Search within the forum for logarithm:

    http://www.mymathforum.com/search.php?mode=results

    That should at least give you an idea where to post.

    I just ran across this and thought I'd pass it on.

    MIT offers full free online materials and lectures; tests; etc for many of their courses.

    MIT is committed to advancing education and discovery through knowledge open to everyone.

    OCW shares free lecture notes, exams, and other resources from more than 1800 courses spanning MIT's entire curriculum.
    The Mathematics department is under the Science tab:

    log2^2/4^3 + log6

    log2^2/4^3 x 6
    Well my notation was awkward but this is the same I think.

    log (2² x 6/4³) or ----------------->>>

    log (2² x 6)

    Anyway I'm tired of logs

    start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map

    The Tahoma font has simple math symbols that windows can handle.

    There are some other very complex fonts in there but most do not transfer unless the receiver has the same font in use.
