    Jpeg 2 Dvd 4 Tv?

I'd like to put the fractal images I've mentioned in another thread on DVD so me dear old Mam in Melbourne can have a look. She's not online, but she does have a damn big TV with a DVD player.
I'm storing the images on my PC as JPEGs. Would that format be suitable or should I convert them to something else?

This depends on the DVD player, most DVD's can play JPEG CD's/DVD's but some dont, you could use software (such as nero, roxio or some other) to create a slideshow, this can then be burned to cd/dvd as a DVD video or VCD (video CD) or SVCD (super video CD)

If you store images, use the PNG lossless format. But for burning onto the disc, VCD 2.0 is what most DVD players will play the slideshow format in, files in BMP, GIF, JPEG, JPG and TIF formats.

Sorry for the long silence Kazna, I've not noticed this reply until today.
Are you saying that I need a program called VCD 2.0 to burn the images on to the disk?

VCD 2 is the video formatwhen you are burning to disk, you should preferably use the VCD 2 format

(hope that makes sence, maybe someone else could explain it better)
