Very good. I had my first go at animation yesterday and it wasn't very successful. It was just a pic of a cat with rolling eyes. It said that I should slice the eyes and save them as a gif but save the rest of the cat as a jpg to keep the file size small. I couldn't figure out how to save the eyes as a gif at all. It still worked but the file was huge.![]()
never heard of that before!! i would have thaught you save the whole file as a gif
Here's the tutorial for it. It's step 17 and 18 about the slicing bit.![]()
aah yes, i have never known what slices were for!!
Jaynee. When you are in Image Ready and have selected your area to be sliced go to windows drop down menu and click on optimise ( this is the only time I have seen the optimise in the drop down menu) and an small screen will appear that allows you to change the sliced parts to whatever you want ie Gif jpeg etc. Hope this helps.
