    Among my other talents

A few months ago I downloaded Tierazon and MBF Lite which are fractal programs. I produced some remarkably - no, OUTSTANDINGLY ordinary stuff, but in among the dross there were a few pieces that I thought might be worth sharing.
You can see them here at RedBubble:

    Wow! Cool stuff No 6!

    We like fractals.

I get most my wallpaper here:

Yet you are also the fractal comedian! A true Renaissance man No 6!

A good question, and I’m glad you asked.
I establish the rating thus: first thing in the morning, about five am usually, I stagger into the study, carefully avoiding the light switch. I power up the computer while still groggy and bleary, and go straight to the images. At which point I scream “MY EYES! DEAR GOD IN HEAVEN, MY EYES!” or something very like that.
The volume of the cry is a vital factor in the rating as is the recoil, ie, my velocity as I leap away from the desk.
It’s all very scientific, Kitsmumma. I wouldn’t want you to think I was just, y’know, picking numbers at random.

I have always been attracted to the form of fractals as well as hurricanes.

Although very similar the rotation is opposite.

Dean just made for a nice breezy day in Key West but the reality on the Mexican coast is beyond unreal.

During my Christmas break I worked out a simple method of combining two fractal images. Fractals often produce large areas of uniform colour - mostly black - and I figured that I could use GIMP to lay one over another. Here are two examples.

There's a button bottom left of each image if you want the larger view.
