OK, so I already knew from my own experience that Linksys technical support is a complete waste of time but I've just heard something so funny that I had to share it with you all. I was browsing through the 'Want It Now' posts on Ebay (where people post a description of what they want to buy in the hope that a seller will contact them) - I've built up quite a good trade on Ebay now and I check those boards quite a lot to see if there are customers out there that are just waiting for me to sell to them. Anyway, one of the posts was from someone who didn't want to buy a product but had posted on that board for advice. Apparently, they couldn't get their Linksys wireless network adapter to work so they contacted Linksys for help. It seems that Linksys technical support couldn't work out what was wrong so, rather than deduce that it must be faulty and needs replacing, they told the customer to put a message on Ebay asking someone else for help!!! How ridiculous is that ???!!!!!
