It's easy to forget just how quick the whole computer /IT scene has grown and developed in such a short time. Some players have climbed higher and grown stronger, some that seemed strong have faded into insignificance.

I remember using Mosaic in 94/95, graphical sites were thin on the ground, but it was still one of those 'wow' moments.

Interesting article. The way Netscape got overtaken reminds me how Yahoo! decided against buying Google in the early days. Doh!
