I am looking for 2 or 4 hi-fi speakers, they must be no more than 45W each (but preferably over 20W) (CD player max. output is 45W per channel) black or silver, i don't mind. I dont want to pay an awful lot for them (maybe £30-40)

anyone know where i can get some? I have looked on ebay and i am watching a set..

I have just confused myself!!

If the CD player provides a max of 45W (per channel) and the speakers are say 60W each, will this draw too much from the cd player, dmaging it or will the cd player just provide the speakers with 45W of power

and...

If the CD player provides a 45W max output (per channel) and the speakers are 20W each, will the speakers draw what they need or will the player provide too much power (on a higher volume) and blow the speakers??
