Thanks for all input so far guys. We don't have a huge amount of flexibility with the scoring system as this is not an area of the site we developed ourselves. Again this is the reason some games don't work as they should, I would still like at some point to delete these games to clean things up and will get around to this when we have time.

Based on the feedback so far I propose we delete all scores completely and then do this every 3 or 6 months. If we can get more flexibility with the development in future we could look at stroing all time top scores.

hi all, i think they should be reset, can i just say i think they have been reset before because i got a high score on breakout over 100,000 and now the top score/best score is way below that. can someone clarify please.

They haven't been reset since we moved over to the new Arcade, the last reset I can remember was back in 2004 on the old Arcade - http://www.d-a-l.com/help/showthread.php?t=10892

All arcade scores will be reset tomorrow based on everyones votes and comments.

Scores are reset and it looks like the software retains the high scores and scorers of all time, which is great for those who have spent time getting seriously high scores.

Scores in the Arcade are well overdue a reset and this will be done this week.
